The U.S.-run School of the Americas, located at Fort Benning, Georgia, is a training academy for the Latin American military. In recent years, SOA has attracted large- scale demonstrations and arrests. What brings protesters? SOA has produced a string of death squad killers who specialize in the murder of non- combatants, including children, priests, nuns and bishops. SOA graduates have distinguished themselves in the arts of homicide and massacre, earning their alma mater the sobriquet of School of the Assassins.

Father Roy Bourgeois
Father Roy Bourgeois, a Vietnam War veteran, is a Jesuit priest who has spent many years working with the poor all over Latin America. He is co-director of School of the Americas Watch, a Washington, D.C.-based organization dedicated to shutting down the School of the Americas.
