Egypt, the largest Arab country, has long been ruled by a series of autocrats. The latest and one of the most enduring is Hosni Mubarak, a close ally of Washington and recipient of billions in U.S. aid. He is trying to maintain his grip on power. The winds of change may alter his plans. There are growing movements for democratization and reform. In this program he discusses the increasingly popular Kefaya-Enough-movement and the possibilities of political change in Egypt.

Saad Eddin Ibrahim

He is professor of sociology at the American University of Cairo. In this program he discusses the increasingly popular Kefaya-Enough-movement and the possibilities of political change in Egypt.
