Kashmir: Telling the Story
Program #PARK001. Recorded in Srinagar, Kashmir on February 18, 2011.
Kashmir is one of the most protracted and bloody occupations in the world—and one of the most ignored. Under Indian military rule human rights abuses and atrocities are routine. The U.S. refuses to bring pressure on its ally, India. The Kashmiri people's ongoing quest for justice is brutally suppressed. The solution? End the occupation, and insure the right of self- determination for the Kashmiri people. Interviewed by David Barsamian.
