Allan Nairn
Allan Nairn is an a top investigative journalist. He was prominent in the effort to bring attention to East Timor. In 1991, he and his colleague Amy Goodman were caught in a peaceful demonstration in East Timor that was brutally attacked by the Indonesian army. Their report on the massacre won the prestigious Du Pont Award for journalism. He also reports on U.S. foreign policy in Central America and Haiti.
