Dave Dellinger

Dave Dellinger, a pacifist, was imprisoned for his beliefs during World War Two. He was one of the most visible and articulate figures in the peace movement. He advocated and used Gandhian tactics of non-violence. Frequently arrested, he was involved in organizing the 1967 March on the Pentagon and the 1971 May Day protest. He was one of the Chicago Seven. His memoir is From Yale to Jail. He died in 2004.
