David Morris

David Morris was co-founder and vice-president of the Institute for Local Self Reliance, with offices in Minneapolis and Washington, DC. His articles appeared in more than fifty newspapers and journals throughout the United States, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and The Christian Science Monitor. He is the author of several books on urban development, local self-reliance, energy and the environment, including The Trade Papers. He passed away in 2025.
