Emil Fackenheim

Emil Fackenheim, a scholar of Judaism, was a reform rabbi and author of numerous books, including To Mend the World. A professor of philosophy at the University of Toronto, The Guardian called him “a master interpreter” of Kant and Hegel. He died in 2003.
