Undoing Corporate Rule
It can be easy to forget that the American Revolution was fought to rid the colonies of absentee control by not only King George but also the corporations chartered by the crown, like the Massachusetts Bay Colony, the Carolina Colony, the Virginia Colony, etc. The Revolution converted these corporations into constitutional states. Richard Grossman shows how the countervailing power to corporations is the American people.
