Garrison Keillor was born in Anoka, Minnesota and attended Anoka High School and the University of Minnesota. He has worked in radio since 1963 and is the host and writer of A Prairie Home Companion. He is the author of nine books, including Lake Wobegon Days and Leaving Home. His latest book is Wobegon Boy.
