The first six months of 1998 were the hottest ever recorded, and July was the hottest month ever. Heat waves, floods and droughts are occurring all over the globe. Evidence piles up documenting global warming, yet in the U.S., there is denial and resistance. It’s fueled by a $2-trillion-a-year coal and oil industry-sponsored PR campaign.
